Reviews, Verification & Trust on Function
We believe trust is built on transparency, not on suppressing negative feedback. Here is how reviews and verification work on Function.
Reviews
- Any logged-in user can leave a review on a vendor listing (one review per person per listing).
- Reviews include a 1-5 star rating and optional text.
- Reviews from users who actually contacted the vendor are marked with a "Contacted vendor" badge, so couples can see which reviews come from real enquiries.
- We never delete negative reviews. Both the vendor and the reviewer can delete a review, but Function does not remove reviews on behalf of vendors.
Verification badges
Vendors can request a verification badge from their listing dashboard. Verified vendors get a visible checkmark next to their name, signalling to couples that this is a real, accountable business.
Report a listing
If you see a listing that looks fake, spammy, or inappropriate, you can report it directly from the listing page. Reports go to our team and we review them within 24 hours.
